At False Catch Project, our mission comes from a place of love, responsibility, and urgency. Puffins are not just beautiful seabirds, they are part of ocean ecosystems that are becoming more fragile every year. Sadly, plastic pollution is changing their environment. Many times plastic enters the ocean and becomes a false source of food, replacing the fish they are meant to eat. What should help them survive is slowly harming them.
False Catch Project was created because this problem is real and growing. Discarded fishing nets, plastic waste, and microplastics are now common in the ocean. These materials can trap seabirds or be mistaken for food, which can be deadly for them. Seeing how pollution is affecting marine life made us want to create something that could help raise awareness.
Through our apparel, inspired by puffins and the reality of ocean pollution, we try to turn clothing into something more meaningful. Our designs are meant to start conversations and remind people that what is happening in the ocean matters. Each piece represents a message about protecting marine life and taking better care of our planet.
False Catch Project is not only about selling T-shirts or a clothing brand. It is about building awareness and encouraging people to care about what is happening to our oceans and enviroment. Every design gives a voice to puffins and to marine ecosystems that cannot speak for themselves.
A portion of every purchase helps support the long-term goal of contributing to efforts that protect puffins and reduce plastic pollution in the ocean. When someone supports our brand, they are helping spread awareness and becoming part of something that aims to create real change in the world.
We believe in a future where puffins can continue to thrive and where oceans are cleaner and healthier. False Catch Project exists to remind people that even small choices, like what we choose to wear, can help protect the things we love. 🌊
